How do you reach for your dreams? Everyone has dreams and needs to follow those dreams. I will tell you my story. We will start at the beginning of my dream.

When I was 5 years old, my father and I would drive to the nearest Dairy Queen for ice cream. What I remember most about those times was that people of all ages, life styles and cultures were smiling, laughing and talking while licking their ice cream cones. Though I didn’t know it, my dream was being formed.

Coming from an Italian household, you can only imagine the smells and aromas in our kitchen. Friends and relatives would always stop for an afternoon dinner. People would chat and smile while eating their meals. Everyone likes to eat.

My professional life began in an industrial construction company. Throughout the years, our management team would share our dreams. My answer always remained the same; I wanted to sell ice cream and make people smile.

Up until this point, my life had been perfect. My first wake up call was when I was bitten by a brown recluse spider. While hospitalized, I had to make an immediate decision on whether or not have my leg amputated. Making the wrong decision could ultimately result in the loss of my life. I did make a decision not to have my leg amputated and start on antibiotics. This proved to be the right path. A couple of years later, I was involved in an automobile accident. You can only imagine my shock when the doctor told me it would be four to six months before I would be returning to work. Lastly, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. During the next few years, I knew I would not return to my previous position. Between operations, I was now aggressively looking for my ice cream. And now seven years as a cancer survivor, I can look back and realize Wildtree was my destiny.

I attended a Southern Women’s Show in the fall of 2004. While looking for free facials and massages, I spotted the Wildtree booth. I could smell the flavors of the tasting products displayed. I craved a sample. It was crowded. And those of you, who know me well, would attest I don’t even like buffets. But my instincts had me making my way through the line to sample some of the jalapeño dip. I glanced up and saw a recruiting sign. I was sold. This was my ice cream.

My life is now on a forward direction to my dreams. I have found my passion. Eating healthy with all natural food products and sharing it with others.
